Pump
Taken with Ilford HP5. I think I might consider just posting my pictures on my facebook or something. Seems like blogs and flickr somehow makes people comment way less

Factory
Mannequins at the Granville Island
Taken with the Ilford HP5 400. The graininess on this film is much better than the XP200, but these films cost way more money to print. I might be moving back to Digital after my last roll of film due to how much it costs to develop and print them. Good news is that this roll didn’t only have one picture I liked but maybe a little more, so there might be more posts coming soon
My apologies for posting late, the developpers actually received it late so it actually arrived on Thursday

New Pet Peeve Discovered
I’ve just realized that people who breathe loud are so freakishly annoying. Snoring is another story, it’s perfectly fine to me, but people who actually breathe obnoxiously loud break my focus in lecture halls and just drives me nuts. I honestly felt like I was sitting next to a Huff’n'Pufff the magical dragon.
Anyway, that’s just a random rant for today, can’t wait to pick up my film tomorrow!
P.S. Let me know what are your recent pet peeves in the classroom or anywhere else!

Driving in the lower mainland
After driving for a while in the lower mainland, I’ve come to realize how a lot of the BAD drivers tend to somewhat fit their stereotypes.
Before I get started, if any form of racism or sexism offends you, please stop now.
Anyway, I’ve compiled a list of these particular drivers:
the ‘having a bad day’ driver: these guys you got to really watch out for, they can hit your car and just apologize and say shit happens even though the shit happened to hit the fan and splash on your face and ruin your car and waste your time. The worst part is that their day is so bad that you can’t make it any worse so they feel no guilt, so you gotta really yell and make them contemplate wearing tight jeans and dying their hair black.
The Asian male drivers: these drivers are quite harmless but very annoying. Even if they know they did something wrong, as long as you honk or bother them, they will not stop at any cost to drive beside you and stare at you until you feel their gaze is burning your soul.
The Asian female drivers: oh god, these are the few very dangerous drivers, no matter the age, they all drive like old grannies in their own world and won’t even know when you honk or finger them or even if the traffic light changed. They are literally unaware of anything and go at their own pace.
The Caucasian male driver: probably the most aggressive drivers ever but not necessarily that dangerous, they just speed… so just get out of their way and you will be fine. It only gets bad when you start to piss them off, that’s when they start hunting you down and cussing at you till no tomorrow.
The Caucasian female driver: by far the most dangerous drivers ever. They know the laws, they know the etiquette, but they will refuse to follow any of them. They will drive aggressively with a smile on their face and pretend everything’s alright. Even though they might be fine, the amount of damge they cause are lethal.
The “I got it from my papa” drivers: These guys are probably the biggest jokes ever. Their parents buy them a 100,000$ car so they can rock their designer sunglasses with plastic leather jackets and explosive hair as they drive down the streets listening to trance. Absolutely no harm to anyone, just a nice mobile joke to brighten your days.
The “Rice rocket” drivers: Probably one of the safest drivers ever. Since they know they are obvious targets for the police, they stay within the speed limit and keep to themselves, the only thing you have to worry about are their super loud exhausts, which may set your car alarm off because their only way to release all that rage from not being able to speed is to floor it in the parking lots.
I believe this encompasses most of the drivers, I know I haven’t included some other drivers but these are usually the only ones you need to watch out for.
If you guys want to add anything, feel free to comment
Photos will be coming on Wednesday!!

SFU Parking
Just wanted to talk about how bad the parking meters at SFU are. I was actually 30 minutes late for class because there was a huge line up to buy the parking tickets because the machine literally can not scan a credit card properly. First they thought they could fix the problem by letting you pay with coins or bills but in the end the machine somehow can’t accept bills anymore. So I was thinking… We pay thousands of dollars to go to school, yet we’re probably going to be late and miss some of this education time that we pay for because the school can’t afford to get efficient parking meters? So in the end we lose more money, lose time, waste gas, environment loses and students lose but the university wins. I thought that they did this because it might be some sort of deterrent for students who drive to school but it feels like a pretty bad excuse.

P.S. Just took another roll of pictures today and they’ll be here in a week! stay tuned!
Granville Island
Taken with Ilford XP200 B&W Film. This was a picture of that weird ball dropping mechanism that used to be on display at the science world.
Playing around with B&W film this time
Nothing feels more satisfying than actually holding the picture instead of only seeing it on the computer
I feel kind of bad though because it feels like the DSLR is going to waste. But honest opinion from you guys, should I keep both cameras, or actually consider selling the DSLR? Because as of now I can still sell it for a good 1000$.
Anyway, hopefully there will be more consistent posts since school’s starting so I won’t be working as much.
